Private Stock possibly discontinued?

I just went to a spot where I can order P-stock by the case and today I tried pick one up that was previously ordered. This time though, time the guy said that he didn't get it because his distributor was out of stock and told me to check back in a couple of weeks. Is it normal for the distributors to be out of stock? I also just watched a youtube video of walty79 mentioning Private Stock being discontinued. Has anyone else heard/seen anything regarding this?

First off

I have an addiction problem

I wanted to only collect 40oz bottles,

but the disease has spread and now I am also going to collect 22's

The First Duce I got was from Nick Moulton, he hooked me up with the Cool Colt

Next I got the Old School Mickeys and Colts from the dude up in Tahoe

Gene the guy I bought the huge lot of bottles from gave me a call and told me
he has a friend up in Lake Tahoe that also collected bottles. I agve the guy and email
and he sent me a reply back saying he had some 40oz and other goodies.

He sent me a pic and I like what I saw. Tahoe is about 4 hour away and the weather report said
it was going to snow. I talked Frank its going up with me, brought my snow chains just in case and
left Hayward at 10:30 am. Got to...

I guess this 40 was at least being discussed during the BB revolution but never saw the light of day because NH went back to clear and now to wide and there were no sightings of this bottle, just the 24oz cans,...

When BigJ texted me that he scored a 40 called Steelhead, from OR, I assumed it to be the same. A few minutes ago I even finished changing the listing name in the Archive to simply 'Steelhead' and had both his bottle & the label side-by-side... but I wound up digging a little deeper.

I started thinking about this when do7com brought up the widemouth rainier ale in the green lightning thread

I wonder how many bottles are out there that only one person in the crew is in possession of

these (aside from those no one has) could be considered the 'true' rarest 40s in the world and I think it requires a list

I know bruz has like 100 mexican 40s that he alone has but for the purpose of this list those will not be counted

Thats right, im getting one

Ive been talking to a man who owed a pizza place in down here. He is a policeman and had his pizza place covered with around three thousand or so bottles, he sent me a pic and I can see the full 40oz, not sure what else hes all going. Going to meet up with him this weekend and buy some bottles from him. I hope hes got more but even if thats the only 40oz I walk away with I am pretty excited.
