it was awesome and he had serious skill and I was trying to think of his name tonight but couldnt come up with it or the thread
i remember one of the vids was in a car, one was on a street i think or something

So I just checked my profile tonight to see how many posts I had and I noticed a very unusual category on my profile.

Apparently 31 people looked at my profile on 10/22/09.

This seems absurd to me since I rarely/if ever look at other people's profiles.

And I don't even think we have 31 people who even actively post on here so that number seems absurd.

Has anyone else noticed outrageous profile view numbers like this?

A long time ago when the forum was less active I set the hot topic icon () to appear after 40 posts within a thread (i thought '40' was appropriate).

Click on Liquor Store or Jibba Jabba now though & 90% of threads are on fire.

And in reality, with as many members as we have posting now, 40 replies to a thread isn't much.

How 'bout I change it to a nice even 100 posts...

karpis/beam - mountain climbing book

you guys were talking about a polish mountain climber a while back who did alpine runs up all the big mountains

then one day tried to rip up a mountain alone with a $5 1/8th rope and fell to his death
i was intregued and even looked him up on wikipedia and read about him which was interesting

i want to get my brother a book about this dude or some other rowdy mountain climbing type stuff
recommend immediately, i cant even remember what thread the discussion...

Feel stupid making a thread, seems like im soliciting well wishes from people who wouldn't have know otherwise. But its stupid not to mention a milestone eitherway.

I have plenty to be thankfull for, took plenty of steps to get my shit life together. I'm in arguably in better fitness then I was at 20.

Going to sip a tap and die 40 later and some champaigne and then some asian fusion tonight with just the close friends.
