Well, I'm going to do something I normally don't. Which is to review a 40 that I do not have currently sitting in front of me.

But given the circumstances, I can't exactly go down to the store and rip a fresh one.

This is without a doubt my favorite 40 of all time. I started swillin malts regularly in June of 2006. And this was my go-to malt. It had that "musty" Colt 45 flavor which I love, but it had a tiny bit more kick and a whole lot less...

thanks to neufutur for hooking me up with this awesome bottle and brew.

i was excited to try this after reading all the previous reviews, and i cant say much different. the crack and hiss was very powerful. i took a large first gulp, down to the label. very good shit, i wasnt quite sure what to expect. very easy to drink, refreshing...

This stuff looked awful in the bottle with a cloudy haze. I actually considered just dumping this, but I chilled it and when greated with a strong hiss off the crack, I said WTF and soldiered on.

Not bad...even the driver likes it. Decent enough malt flavor. Standard 5.9 malt otherwise.

Bottom line..if you get one, ignore the haze, be a man and drink the shit. I'm still alive and you will be to after drinking it.

Gave me an awesome crack & hiss upon opening it. The label declares this to be a 5.9% beer. However, the taste tells me it's malt liquor to the fullest. This ain't no "beer". Old Milwaukee? Yes.
