Camoflaged Silver Ice.

Well that's just great. I do not like Camo products period. I think they're too strong. I despise the fortified wine taste. I also don't like wide mouth 40s. Lets merge the two, shall we?

I found this while storming through Ann Arbor Michigan searching for a 40 oz that does not exist. This was two months ago. It's been in my fridge patiently waiting its turn since then.

First off, I would like to send a huge shoutout to 40ozforSatan for hooking me up with this disgusting beast of a 40 oz. The crack was loud with a decent hiss; always a good thing in my opinion. When you first start to swill it, the taste is decent for being such a high percentage ABV 40. But as it gets less and less cold, it starts to taste worse and worse quicker and quicker, to an almost paint thinner-like taste.

After reading all the bad reviews of this brew I wasnt looking forward to it but 9% abv and wm 40s are unheard of around here. Had a great crack but not much hiss and the smell hit me as soon as the cap was off. The first swill was a lil rough but not that bad. I picked up a camo silver ice 40oz as soon as I saw that they had switch to the widemouth. I've never actually messed around with this before, I've had camo black ice and hated it, but the widemouth had won me over to give it a try. Had this sitting in my fridge for about 2 months staring me in the face, waiting for the right time to come out and do what it was meant to do. Drank one yesterday surprisingly much better than i was expecting, cold all the way through and no nasty after taste quality buzz. Today had another started of nasty(i mean fucking terrible) got better by top of the label

If u like heart-burn and the taste of E-85 straight out of the pump this is the 40 for you!! 0/10 tastes like Kerosene and @ the same price as 211, or Crazy Stallion isn't worth it! Stay Away from this Sh!t!!!

I recently had a few of these Camo Silver Ice 40 oz's. God Awful.

I won't lie, 1 of these narly concotions along with some keystones got me buzzing like a mutherfucker. but I don't recoment this malt for anyone who enjoys their 40's. Your better of just gettin 2 olde E's or something that doesn't taste of carbonated wine.

I just typed a whole bunch about this HG. and it all got erased. pissed. Shit is gettin me drunk, and is not messing around at all. camo Silver ice 9% is not to be messed with when it comes to a 40. I tried to do a very in-depth review that got erased somehow.. Still tearing me up now. First off thanks to D4NO for the Silver Ice! This was indeed a unique taste for the 9%.

Though not as bad as all have said indeed tasted like wine more then malt. Makes sense for the 9%

But I ripped this for 40ozmalt tv missed it by the swill!

If I could drink this again I would it is better then Steel Reserve 8.1 IMO.

Swill 6.5 - 10

Buzz 8 - 10

Overall 7.5 - 10

Not the greatest 40oz, but IMO it is better then Steel and...

Not sure if I caught this at its full potential, it showed up (trade) leaked. I lost about an inch and it wasnt very carbonated.
This 40 started off tasting like a nice, ice cold VSL.
However, very soon after, the flavor changed to an uncarbonated/swilly st ides
I drank this as hard as i possibly could within 10 minutes
I wanted to make Racer proud, and I hope that I did with my result
Buzz factor is good, but not as great as I read in past reviews...

Sanjose40 drinker has been passing me his 40 knowledge and told me wear I could find this bad boy.

Got a 40 of camo silver ice yesterday and cracked it open today after a real annoying and boring weekend with my gf ...
I had also bought a couple Laser 40s and some Steel Reserve (my favorite staple MLs.)
The Camo is 9% abv which makes it efficient if y ou're after a quick buzz and "40 oz. to freedom" (the band Sublime)
I certainly am on this occasion ...
The taste is a bit metallic and yes, the alcohol is evident but ... it's not so unlike good german...

Nice crack/hiss.
First few sips were not as bad as expected but once down to the label it started tasting like shitty ice-beer with a heavy wine-like alcohol flavour.
Half-way through and it's starting to taste foul. Reminds me of Amsterdam Maximator 11.6%.

I've had the 24oz can once in the past & remembered it tasting like hell. So needless-to-say, I was wary of my venture into the depths of the 40 ounce. First sip made me think "Damn, this this shit tastes STRONG". However, I think I was initially psyching myself out too much. This liquid is not as bad tasting as I feared. Yes, it tastes strong for a 40... and yes, it tastes bad... but for 9.0% it could have tasted much worse. Will I ever drink it again? Not by my own choosing....
