This brand has been discontinued for a long time. I never had the honor of drinking one. It was replaced briefly by "Colt 45 Premium", due to the lawsuits against Colt 45 for irresponsibly promoting the alcoholic strength of their product thru the name "Power Master".

I actually had a swig of this stuff about 10 years ago and the version we had here in Philly was called "POWER MAX". Maybe the name was a regional thing but this shit never lied! There were legit lawsuits because the content had to be at least TRIPLE what the regular 45 had in it and people who drank regular 45 were getting really fucked up! My aunt who could do 2 40's of 45 before getting buzzed got so trashed off this shit, she fell down a flight of steps (about 5 of 'em). It made my stomach burn after a cup so I gave up. This shit turned people into fuckin' demons! A couple of people got hit by cars after doin a half of a 40 off this shit. My aunt did get a lawyer and sued the beer company for messing up her ankle and they settled. Man, those were the days!!

16oz can: Thew it in the freezer for 45 mins. I had to pour it into a glass to see what I was drinking. Very bad. Chunks of who the hell knows what very dark in color smells like vinagar. I used a strainer and poured it into another glass. First sip was very vinager/salt taste no carbination very flat. Made me shiver and dry heave. This sucks and my brother thinks that its funny. Ok second drink is going to be a big one to get it down. Very hard to drink but I think that is in my mind. The last drink I just powered through it and finished it off. The alcohol can still be tasted although I doubt that Powermaster tasted like this in its heyday. No buzz although I feel a slight headchange. Hard to score but I will try. Taste 1/10 Buzz (if it was a whole 40) 6/10 Overall 5/10 For those that do not know, this Powermaster has to be 15+ years old.
