Left work at 7:30pm, got home 7:54pm, grabbed this 40, sat down with a half roasted chicken, potato salad, & coleslaw and turned on Survivor. Drank 1/3 of the brew with the meal. Not bad, similar to Black Label 11-11 in its classic harsh malt flavor. Ate 2 chocolate chip cookies, a small slice of chocolate chip cake, and a bite size Snickers for dessert. Chocolate & malt go well together. Halfway done and it's going well... I'm full but happy. Now in the 2nd half I am not liking it as much. This 40 gets warm fast too, which definitely does not help the taste. The swill is really bad. Man, it's awful swill. If this was a common 40 for me I'd just dump the last 1.5 inches down the drain. But for the sake of this re-review I'll suck it up (& down). I'm tired. No buzz. Overall 5/10 swills at best. Check it out, ya'll! "The Eagle" has landed! A lot of peeps say this shizz is hard to find, but me and (the ever-popular) Chino scored some without even looking. Yet another fine Middletown, NY score. Anyway, here's a review from the both of us: Chino says "Not bad, pretty smooth and gets you feelin' a buzz. It gives you what you're lookin' for, and isn't that what counts? When I drink, I'm looking for a decent flavor, and a decent buzz factor and it kinda' delivered." He went on to give it a nice 7/10. As for me, I say, this shit is pretty smooth and I like it. It's better than a lot of malts out there, and was only $1.49 so it ranks pretty high with me. Really dug it, actually. Good flavor, and it was getting me lifted. Whoever markets this stuff must like the word "the" though..............the motto is "THE bold, THE proud" and it's called "THE Eagle" instead of just plain old "Eagle", which is hilarious to say the least. Anyways, I bought out all the bottles they had. I sure hope they have more, next time I'm there......7/10

found in a strange location that is known to get old shit. had the worst crack ever, very little noise, and the ring stayed on the cap. didnt really taste bad, didnt really taste good. it was pretty much what i expected. im thinking had it been fresher, with a better seal, it would have tasted better. but it did the job, and its a good bottle to have. 3 out of 10.

this shit is $1.39 here and when i seen that i was worried if it was just some bargain bin shit,and it might be but i found this cheap ass malt to be pretty decent.it had a lighter taste though and i prefer a more defined malt.the swill tasted decent,it was better than most swills.i polished this one off in under 10 minutes and got a slight buzz.5/10 for being so light in taste and so weak.a decent 40 if your broke.

Early Friday evening, 5:30 in the P.M. I walk into Stadium Party Store in Auburn Hills, MI. While walking to the cooler to grab my usual 2 forties of Magnum, I see a bottle on the bottom shelf that I don't recognize - "The Eagle" it says, with a gold eagle propped against a black backdrop. "What the hell", 1.89 I'll give it a try. I wasn't in the passenger seat 2 minutes before that baby was cracked. The first few sips were ice cold, and it tasted pretty good - a little metallic, but with a pleasant fruit like aftertaste. When you are stuck in a traffic jam, a cold malt liquor between the legs is a comforting thing, and my Eagle was just that, when I could sneak in a few chugs here and there, most being about 5 or 6 oz pulls. This mediocre taste, above average buzz 40 was placed on the shelf so to speak with about 4 ounces swillin around the bottom. Pounded the Magnum, went back to the bottom of the barrell Eagle, and guess what - still good, even all piss warm. I didn't cringe at all, and that says something about the value here.Would I buy it again? Well probably not. It's the same price as Magnum. Would it be a good alternative if there was no Magnum? You bet. I give it a 6.5 out 10 *SWILLS*

i picked this up almost 2 weeks ago. ive been procrastinaing alot on it. im not excited about it. i feel the same way about this as i do a laser. i wasnt excited to drink that either, and when i did drink it it was very bland and boring. this is the same. ive only had a few sips but i already know. i got a terrible crack off this bitch, the ring didnt give at all and the hiss was super weak. its not that flat tho at all. but its still not that great either way. eagle is boring as fuck. i have a ballantine in the fridge also and i wanted to drink that instead so bad but didnt to get rid of this garbage and put it on the shelf. ballantine and p.stock have taught me not to accept weak malts anymore. yes, this is ok, but its not great or really even good. the ballantine is always awesome. at least it was only 1.49.

I got this jawnt from Pman on a trade. Not a bad swill at all decent taste average buzz factor. the taste kinda reminded me of something but I can't seem to put my finger on what it is....I dunno damn that short term memory. I'd give The Eagle 6 of 10 Swills...
