Amsterdam Shottie and I will be flying out there on 10/20/08. Im pretty excited cause this will be the first time Ive left the country in my life. I went and handled my passport shit today and should have it in 4-6 weeks. Weed ,whores , weed , shrooms Might be meeting up with Life Begins at 40 out there. He told be he's gonna be in town for a batcher party. So all crew are welcome to come with us. airfair alone is gonna run 850$. youd need about 2Gs total for the trip. hit me up if your interested. What was great about amsterdam is that even if you arn't doing substances it is a pretty amazing and interesting city. I remember it standing out as a highlight of my trip and I wasn't even partaking in any of the cool things you can there. I can only imagine going now. Really cool place, I went while they were having some kind of festival as well as a soccer match. Crazy crowds of soccer fans carrying flats of beer chanting and drinking through the streets. Parades whose floats threw heinekin instead of candy. Fucking awsome.

You should check out the Flying Pig Hostel - they've got private rooms - the bar is open 23 hours a day - tons of people staying from all over the world - right down town in the thick of it You guys are going to have awesome time

How long you two staying for Quagz/Shottie? Where you looking to stay? Hostel/BnB/Hotel? Done the hostel thing a few times 6 to a room - not anymore. Have even camped once on the outskirts (Gaasperplas) right next to a train stop, that was cool but wouldn't want to do it in October. Never done any site seeing in Amsterdam - never wanted to. Been to a Bock beer festival - that was slightly cultural. Its just a fucking good place to get wasted 24-7.

The bar downstairs is usually kickin and has cheaper beers than you'll find out and about (you can only get in the bar if you are staying at the hostel). Decent coffeeshop (Blues Brothers) right across the street. The street it's on has all kinds of shit on it and is in a great area. www.flyingpig.nl

Would love to but won't be able to swing that with family, work and financial commitments. I've been asked to be best man with another lad so its partly up to me when we go to the Damn for the batchelor party. It will probably fall on a week-end - Thurs to Sun or Friday to Monday. If you're there for the week I'll go for the Thurs 23rd but if you're there for say just 5 days I could suggest we go on the Friday and leave on the Tues. The party is still in the early stages of planning and there is a lot of people to take into account - I know the groom wants to shoot guns and shit and do the Heineken experience but that should be easy to sort. You gotta bring some 4s so we can rip a vid in the Damn! That would be - got to be clever though as you can't drink in the streets any more and the Police are really enforcing this shit now

I mean ... they really kind've went over-board... You can get your drunk/high on without being a completely obnoxious pain in the ass ... They also have changed the rules regarding the weed, you can only buy 5 grams at a time (enough for a week for most people) and I think same with the mushrooms (again , more than you need to trip-out ) ... I am planning a fall trip the "the dam" if any of y'all wanna meet up and get our whoop on ... peace, out .
