Last time I had this it was about 7 years ago (2000 or so) and I remember the smell of the Toronto fish market combined with the other 2 strong canadian 40s I drank (Maximum Ice & Bull Max) leading to a nauseating evening. I'm really diggin' the new black n' blue label since, well, that's kinda my thing (in case you haven't noticed the colors of the website & my tatts & my name). First sip is cool, flowing gently down my neck pipe. It's got that crisp canadian beer flavor, but to a lighter extent than is the norm. Watching Rutgers 1st game of the '07 season (home vs Buffalo) and they're winning 21-0 at the end of the 1st quarter! Eating chicken with gravy, stuffing, peas & tomatos with my brew. About 1/3 remaining & it's still flowin. I think this has some aphrodesiac properties like oysters cuz I randomly popped a huge boner & had to rub one out on the spot. Workin on some annoying dried boogers that are caked to the insides of my nostrils while I head into the swill. This is a nice new label but I wonder if they're going to change the neck label too, to make it match? The swill's not the best but far from the worst; not even bad, actually. 6.1% alcohol yet no real buzz. Pimple on the inside of my nostril hurts, so I'll give this 7/10 swills. It's a nice solid canadian 40. Thanks to biegaman for the new label to re-review!

the #1 40oz of all time has to be BLACK ICE (it will knock you on your black ass). I love black ice, its poor mans beer, cheap and 6.1%. its great.

this was the 4th 40 that i bought for new years, but i didnt get to drink it in canada so i brought it back (drinking 10% 40s and smoking a blunt will put you on your ass) yup...but i survived for the countdown (not like this one bitch that i made her hit the blunt and she was puking during the countdown) but anyway, me and my friends had a bbq (ribs, baked potatoes, and carne asada) and a little street fighter tournament...i swilled this sucker right after we ate and the taste was good...reminded me a little of max ice, but i guess cuz they're both ice beers....my friends seemed to like it too....after i finished swilling it (finished pretty fast cuz its a wide mouth) i was a little buzzed, but i swear it made me play street fighter 3 times as good (and i'm damn good at that game) overall rating 7 out of 10 swills

Black Ice is the lowest I'll go % wise when drinking beer, at 6.1 its still a bit below my expectations of a beer or malt, but this shit is real good, real smooth and tastes like a 5% brew, i sometimes get a 24 of cans when i have lots of cash i drink about 12 and the rest I share with whomever I'm with. out of all my friends nobody minds drinkin this either, cop killa keith obsesses over this beer, the label is pretty shitty the cans have a completely different label than the bottle which is much better in my opinion, they need to change that shit NOW! I can't do a real good review of this shit cuz its been a while since I bought this shit...
to Pacuguy for the hookup on the Black Ice Canadian WM 40. No crack which is common with Canadian 40's although if they were to crack it would be a
wicked sound. 1st sip was great, this definately has a kick to it. Alot stronger taste than Molson Canadian or Molson Export. Almost had a Malt liquor taste.
Even though its got a kick its still very easy to pound. The WM helps too. Drank it in about 45 minutes and it stayed cold all the way. The thick brown bottles
keep the brew ice cold. Buzzzwise it produced a nice one even though it was only a 6.1% ABV 40. I would definately drink this again if I had the oppertunity.
Very solid Canadian 40. 8.5/10 swills overall. BTW this is the last 40 I drank in 2008......not bad.
